As part of our partnership with the Mid Mersey branch of national charity AgeUK, Canter Levin & Berg Solicitors arranged a Tea Dance at Parr Hall in Warrington this Monday. With live music and a delicious selection of cakes for sale, the dance proved a great success. A prize draw was also held during the afternoon, with the Winner receiving £50 of Marks & Spencer Vouchers.
All together the event raised £200, which went to support the services provided by AgeUK Mid Mersey to older residents in the Warrington, St Helens and Halton areas. Dawn Joughin, Head of the Private Client Department at Canter Levin & Berg Solicitors was at the event and afterwards commented on the partnership between AgeUK Mid Mersey and Canter Levin & Berg Solicitors:
“We have been running successful advice clinics through Age UK Mid Mersey’s offices in St Helens, Widnes and Latchford. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Age UK MM and their clients, assisting the people of Warrington in the provision of legal advice at AgeUK Mid Mersey’s new hub in Golden Square.”
Here at Canter Levin & Berg Solicitors we are proud to support the work of AgeUK Mid Mersey and the services it provides. Working as a charity, AgeUK Mid Mersey operates to promote and provide older people in the area with a holistic range of health, well-being and care services so that individuals have more choice and control in their everyday lives.
As part of our legal advice clinic based in AgeUK Mid Mersey’s Warrington offices, we provide an initial 30 minutes of professional legal advice free of charge. If we are instructed in any matters, we also provide a 5% discount to Age UK Mid Mersey clients, as well as donating 10% of our fee to AgeUK Mid Mersey.
