Liverpool's Rose reaches Tralee International Final

If you’ve visited the Canter Levin & Berg website recently you’re sure to know that this year we have been sponsoring Liverpool’s Rose competition.

We have been closely following our Liverpool Rose, Lisa O’Halloran, as she headed to Ireland last week to take part in the next step of the Rose of Tralee International Festival 2013.

Taking place from 29th May to 2nd June, the Rose of Tralee Regional Festival saw the 61 Winning Roses from across Britain, Ireland and the rest of world descend on the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel in County Laois for 5 days of competition, during which they were whittled down to 32. These final Roses will then go on to compete in the televised International Festival in August for the coveted title of Rose of Tralee.

Lisa joined her fellow winning Roses in County Laois for the 5 day Regional Festival. Over the 5 days, in addition to the Regional Festival Selections every evening at the Portlaoise Hotel, the Roses had a packed schedule visiting local schools, hospitals and taking part in parades.

We’re delighted to say that Lisa made it through the 3 rounds of selections to be named as one of the 8 British Regional Roses, meaning she will go through as one of the final 32 girls for the Rose of Tralee International Festival later this year.
