Liverpool Solicitors Welcome Irish Cultural Corridor

This morning Sean Carty, an Associate Solicitor in our Commercial and Employment Law Department, attended a breakfast meeting with various other Irish Liverpool professionals to meet Jimmy Deenihan TD, the Minister for Arts Heritage and the Gaeltacht in the government of the Republic of Ireland.

Mr Deenihan is in town to develop the ‘Cultural Corridor’ between Ireland and Liverpool.

He later attended an afternoon reception at the Bluecoat Liverpool with Jimmy Deenihan TD where he was amongst a panel of distinguished guest speakers including Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson who made the pledge to develop the cultural corridor with the thriving Irish community in Liverpool and Ireland itself.

Sean commented that, "Everyone will agree that Ireland and it's culture is truly embedded into the DNA of Liverpool, helping make Liverpool the extraordinarily unique city that it is today. Developing the "cultural corridor" between Liverpool and Ireland will undoubtedly strengthen these strong links and help firmly establish Liverpool as a world renowned cultural hotspot".
