We’d like to congratulate Romilly Houghton, a partner and member of our Personal Injury department, on her 20 years of service with the firm. Joining the firm in 1994 as a trainee, Romilly completed her training contract in 1996, qualifying as a solicitor. She was made a partner in 2000.
Romilly specialises in dealing with cases involving people who have suffered very serious, life-changing injuries. Her work on behalf of those who have been injured led to her listing on the 2014 edition of Head Injury Solicitors directory, run by Headway, the brain injury association. Romilly is also accredited by the Law Society’s Personal Injury Solicitor panel for the high standard of work she has undertaken on behalf of her clients.
Serious injuries – we are never prepared for them, whether at work, on the road or in the home. Coming to terms with a serious injury means coming to terms with the impact it could have on your life, an impact that could potentially be permanent.
At Canter Levin & Berg Solicitors, Romilly and the other solicitors within our Serious Injury Claims team understand that learning to cope with the effects of a serious injury is a process that can take a significant amount of time.
We also realise that for someone living with a serious injury, being able to enjoy a reasonable quality of life is something that might require significant amounts of money being spent on care, support and adaptations around the home.
