Crime Solicitor Ronan Molloy on Eastenders storyline

If you’re an avid watcher of Eastenders or Coronation Street and you haven’t yet visited our Sud’s Law blog, you’re missing out.

Many of our solicitors have been viewing the legal storylines affecting residents of Walford and Weatherfield and pointing out the errors and misconceptions that can occur whenever TV soaps feature the legal system.

This month Ronan Molloy, a solicitor within our Criminal Law department, has been examining the plight of Ronnie Mitchell/Branning upon her release from H.M.P. Holloway after serving nearly two years for Child Abduction.

Ronan’s been looking at what support Ronnie might have from the soap land probation service once she returns to Albert Square. There is also the issue of how Ronnie’s mental health might be addressed by the Walford mental health team.

Written by the Solicitors and staff here at Canter Levin & Berg, our blog has regular updates following the biggest legal storylines in the nation’s best loved programmes. If you’ve ever seen something like the baby-swapping scandal on Eastenders and wondered “what would happen to Ronnie in real life?” then Sud’s law is for you.
