"Moderate" injury (£17,500 - £25,750) is when there is little permanent disability and little future risk.
Surprisingly, "Injuries of Limited Severity" (£8,250- £17,500) can include injuries that require a hip replacement whereas "lesser injuries" (up to £8,250) are cases with no residual disability.
